About the Position

A healthcare organization in Lima, Ohio is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon Physician to provide surgical care for heart, lung, and chest conditions. The physician will perform cardiac and thoracic surgeries, manage pre-operative and post-operative care, and collaborate closely with cardiology and critical care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include inpatient surgical management, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining accurate EMR documentation. The role emphasizes high-acuity surgical care in a collaborative hospital environment.

Shift Timings:

• Full-time schedule

• Inpatient surgical coverage

• On-call participation as required

Requirements

• MD or DO

• Board Certified/Eligible – Cardiothoracic Surgery

• Ohio Medical License or eligibility

• DEA Certification (if required)

• Strong clinical & teamwork skills
