About the Position

A healthcare organization in Lima, Ohio is seeking an Infectious Disease Physician to provide expert care for patients with complex infections. The physician will diagnose and manage bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic infections, offer consultation services, and support infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship programs.

Responsibilities include consulting on complicated inpatient cases, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining accurate EMR documentation. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, evidence-based infectious disease care in both hospital and outpatient settings.

Shift Timings:

• Full-time schedule

• Inpatient consults and outpatient care

• On-call participation as required

Requirements

• MD or DO

• Board Certified/Eligible – Infectious Disease

• Ohio Medical License or eligibility

• DEA Certification (if required)

• Strong clinical & teamwork skills
