About the Position

An exciting locum tenens opportunity is available for a board-certified OB/GYN physician seeking a rewarding travel assignment providing inpatient coverage. This short-term contract offers flexible scheduling with 24-hour call shifts and a supportive clinical environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic patient care
• Manage labor and deliveries including vaginal and operative deliveries
• Perform cesarean sections and gynecologic surgical procedures
• Evaluate emergency OB/GYN cases and provide inpatient coverage
• Coordinate care with nursing, anesthesia, and clinical staff
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Active New York Medical License
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Strong clinical judgment and surgical skills
• Excellent patient communication and teamwork

Working Hours

24-hour call shifts available (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 PM) with flexible scheduling blocks.
