• Average Daily Volume: ~68 patients per day (25k annual volume)
• Case Mix: Adult emergency cases, most subspecialties available except Neurosurgery

• EMR System: Epic
• Specialty Backup Available: Most adult subspecialties (except Neurosurgery)

• Board: ABEM or ABIM/ABFM with EM Experience required
• Licenses: Active Louisiana license or willing to obtain
• Experience: Residency trained in Emergency Medicine required
• Other Qualifications: IMLC preferred

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in the emergency department
• Manage adult medical and surgical emergencies, utilizing available subspecialty backup (except Neurosurgery)
• Admit or transfer patients as clinically indicated (admission/transfer rate approximately 8%)
• Document all patient encounters accurately in EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow
