An excellent locum opportunity for an OB/GYN physician is available in New York. This assignment offers 24-hour call coverage with flexible scheduling, allowing providers to work select stretches while gaining valuable clinical experience in a supportive hospital setting.

📍 Position Highlights

• Start Date: April 2026
• Assignment Length: 8 weeks
• Schedule: 24-hour call coverage
• Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• EMR System: Epic
• Orientation: 16 hours

⏰ Coverage Dates

Preferred coverage blocks include:

• Apr 6 – Apr 12
• Apr 13 – Apr 16
• May 1 – May 3
• May 14 – May 17
• May 18 – May 24

(Facility prefers full coverage of blocks but may consider partial availability.)

🏥 Practice Details

• Average daily census: 0–10 patients
• Approximately 94 beds
• Patient population includes pediatric and adult patients
• Dedicated support staff including RNs, CNAs, clerks, and anesthesiology support

🔎 Clinical Responsibilities

Providers will perform a variety of obstetric and gynecologic procedures including:

• Spontaneous vaginal deliveries (SVD)
• Operative vaginal deliveries (forceps or vacuum)
• Vaginal delivery repair
• Cesarean sections
• Infant male circumcisions
• Dilation & Curettage (D&C) / Dilation & Evacuation (D&E)
• Laparoscopic, robotic, and abdominal gynecologic surgeries

✔ Requirements

• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Active New York medical license
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
