About the Position

A community-focused healthcare organization in Brattleboro, Vermont is seeking a compassionate and skilled Oncology Physician for a permanent part-time opportunity beginning in April 2026. This role offers the chance to provide personalized cancer care within a collaborative and patient-centered outpatient oncology program.

The physician will work approximately 24 hours per week across two clinic days, delivering comprehensive oncology services including cancer diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing patient management. The role includes participation in a rotating call schedule and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Providers will work closely with surgeons, radiologists, oncology nurses, nurse practitioners, and patient navigators to ensure coordinated care and the best possible outcomes for patients. This position also offers opportunities to engage in clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and oncology advancements.

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology
• Active Vermont medical license (must be obtained prior to start)
• Completion of an accredited residency program
• Clean malpractice history required
• Most recent NPDB Self-Query Report dated within 30 days
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary oncology care team
• Strong commitment to patient-centered cancer care and treatment planning
