About the Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist for a locum opportunity in a hospital and imaging center setting. This role offers a diverse general diagnostic case mix with opportunities to perform light interventional procedures in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site radiology coverage Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Interpret imaging studies including X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Fluoroscopy

  • Perform light interventional procedures including:

    • Biopsies: thyroid, lung, bone, liver, renal (CT- or ultrasound-guided)

    • Drainages: paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess, chest tube, cyst

    • Lumbar punctures: diagnostic LP, myelogram, epidural

    • Arthrograms: knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, ankle

  • Manage daily imaging volumes of 90–100 studies per 8-hour shift with wRVUs of 60–70

  • Collaborate with hospital physicians, technologists, and ancillary staff to provide timely, accurate diagnostic support

  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Board-Certified Radiologist (required)

  • Active Pennsylvania medical license

  • Current DEA registration

  • Recent NPDB self-query report within 30 days

  • Experience in general diagnostic imaging and light IR procedures

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to work full-time Monday–Friday day shifts
