About the Position
We are seeking a Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist for a locum opportunity in a hospital and imaging center setting. This role offers a diverse general diagnostic case mix with opportunities to perform light interventional procedures in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide on-site radiology coverage Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Interpret imaging studies including X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Fluoroscopy

Perform light interventional procedures including:
-
Biopsies: thyroid, lung, bone, liver, renal (CT- or ultrasound-guided)

Drainages: paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess, chest tube, cyst

Lumbar punctures: diagnostic LP, myelogram, epidural

Arthrograms: knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, ankle

Manage daily imaging volumes of 90–100 studies per 8-hour shift with wRVUs of 60–70

Collaborate with hospital physicians, technologists, and ancillary staff to provide timely, accurate diagnostic support

Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards
Requirements

Board-Certified Radiologist (required)

Active Pennsylvania medical license
-
Current DEA registration
-
Recent NPDB self-query report within 30 days

Experience in general diagnostic imaging and light IR procedures

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work full-time Monday–Friday day shifts
