About the Position
We are seeking a full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join a high-acuity Level III NICU team, providing specialized inpatient care to critically ill and premature newborns. This opportunity offers hands-on experience in a collaborative, physician-led environment where teamwork, clinical excellence, and family-centered care are prioritized.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive inpatient neonatal care, including assessment, monitoring, and management of critically ill and premature infants

Conduct daily rounds and collaborate with Neonatologists and multidisciplinary teams

Perform neonatal procedures and support resuscitation and stabilization of high-risk newborns

Document care accurately using EPIC EMR or similar systems

Educate and counsel families on neonatal conditions and care plans

Work flexible 24-hour, 10-hour, and 8-hour shifts as part of a structured rotation

Maintain compliance with protocols, quality, and safety standards
Requirements

Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)

Completion of an accredited Neonatal NP program
-
Active Michigan NP license (or equivalent state license)

Current BLS and NRP certifications

Ability to work varied inpatient NICU shifts

Strong collaboration skills in a team-based, high-acuity NICU environment

Experience with EPIC EMR highly preferred

Clean malpractice and license history with current NPDB Self-Query report
