About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Locum Gastroenterologist for short-term inpatient coverage. This role is ideal for board-certified or board-eligible GI physicians looking to deliver expert care in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide comprehensive inpatient gastroenterology care

• Perform colonoscopy, EUS, and ERCP procedures

• Deliver 24-hour call coverage, onsite for 8 hours as needed

• Collaborate with a team of advanced practice providers and clinical staff

• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR

• Ensure patient safety, quality, and compliance at all times

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology (within 5 years of fellowship)

• Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology

• Active state medical license or IMLC eligibility

• Experienced in EUS & ERCP procedures

• Proven inpatient care experience

• Clean malpractice and professional background
