About the Position

Seeking a Locum Hematologist-Oncologist to provide inpatient and outpatient coverage in Des Moines, IA. Responsibilities include medical hematology/oncology care for 4–5 days per week, inpatient coverage across multiple sites, patient assessments, treatment planning, chemotherapy management, and coordination with nursing and lab/pharmacy support. Telehealth opportunities may be included in addition to inpatient duties.

Shift Timings:

• 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off with call

• Clinic Hours: 8a–4p, 8 clinic days per rotation

• On-call schedule: as assigned

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology & Oncology – [REQUIRED]

• Fellowship Trained in Hematology & Oncology – [REQUIRED]

• Active IA License or IMLC – [REQUIRED]

• Clean malpractice and background – [REQUIRED]

• Experienced in inpatient and outpatient hematology/oncology care – [REQUIRED]
