About the Position

We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a collaborative, growing cardiology service line on the Southern Oregon Coast. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a supportive, collegial environment with a broad patient base and community impact.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Clinic rotation: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with shared Echo call on weekends.
  • Provide comprehensive non-invasive cardiology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Evaluate and manage patients, interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, stress testing, Holter/event monitors, cardiac nuclear imaging, and TEE.
  • Perform and interpret cardioversion and review cardiac rehab treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other specialties and participate in quality improvement and policy development.
  • Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and preventive health measures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Engage in professional growth and maintain CME requirements.

Requirements

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Non-Invasive Cardiology
  • Fellowship-trained in Cardiology
  • OR medical license or willingness to obtain
  • Nuclear and Echo certification strongly preferred
  • Clean malpractice history and NPDB self-query report within 30 days
  • DEA registration (to be obtained prior to start)
  • Residency within the local area (relocation may be required)
  • Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with colleagues, patients, and administration
