About the Position

Seeking a Locum Physician in Gastroenterology to provide coverage in Mechanicsville, VA. The provider will manage adult patients in hospital and outpatient clinic settings, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including colonoscopy, upper GI endoscopy, liver biopsy, and ERCP. This role offers exposure to high-acuity GI cases and a collaborative hospital-based practice with on-site lab and imaging support.

Shift Timings:
• 12/21 – 12/25 (Monday–Friday, 24-hour call coverage)

Requirements

• Board Certified Physician

• Active Virginia Medical License

• Flu vaccination required

• Clean malpractice history

• ERCP proficiency required

• EUS preferred

• Self-Query NPDB within 30 days of presentation
