About the Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified Anatomic Pathologist for locum coverage in Syracuse, NY. This hospital-based role involves general anatomic pathology, frozen section analysis, and cytology, including supervision of surgical specimens and performing thin prep cytology. The pathology lab handles approximately 13,000 surgical specimens and 3,000 cytology specimens annually.

Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with no call requirements. Equipment includes Cryostat (Avantik QS12UV / QS II) and microscopes (Nikon Eclipse E400, Olympus BX41).

Requirements

• AP Board Certified (Required)

• Active New York State medical license (Required)

• Current Self-Query NPDB report within the submission month (Required)

• Cytology proficiency for GYN cytology (Required)
