About the Position
An exciting full-time opportunity for a Dermatologist is available to join a new and expanding dermatology practice serving a large and diverse patient population. This position offers the unique chance to help shape and grow a developing dermatology program while working alongside an experienced physician in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The physician will provide comprehensive outpatient dermatologic care, addressing a wide range of medical and procedural dermatology needs. With access to a large referral network of primary care and specialty providers, the practice offers a strong patient base and consistent demand for dermatologic services.
This role allows the incoming physician to contribute to the development of a growing practice, expand clinical services, and establish long-term relationships with patients in the community. Providers will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team dedicated to patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
The position emphasizes professional autonomy, clinical growth, and the opportunity to build a thriving dermatology service line within an established healthcare network.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering comprehensive outpatient dermatology care
Diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin conditions
Performing medical and procedural dermatology services
Collaborating with primary care and specialty providers for referrals
Supporting the development and growth of a new dermatology practice
Maintaining high standards of patient-centered care and clinical quality
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology
- Board-eligible physicians must be within 3 years of residency completion
- Must obtain board certification within 1 year of employment if board eligible
- Active Iowa medical license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Recent NPDB Self-Query report (within 30 days)
- Willingness to build and grow a new dermatology practice
- Strong commitment to patient-centered dermatologic care
- Clean malpractice history preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States (visa sponsorship not available)
