About the Position
An exciting remote locum opportunity for a Radiologist with a Neuro Fellowship is available to support a dynamic imaging service with a diverse and engaging case mix. This role allows physicians to work remotely while interpreting a broad range of diagnostic imaging studies.
The position involves reading multiple imaging modalities including X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine, with a strong focus on neurology-related cases. The case mix consists primarily of neuro imaging and emergency department studies, providing a stimulating clinical environment for experienced radiologists.
Physicians will be responsible for interpreting imaging studies, delivering timely diagnostic reports, and maintaining high standards of clinical accuracy. The role offers structured shifts with predictable workloads and the ability to work from a remote setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Interpreting diagnostic imaging studies across multiple modalities
- Providing accurate and timely radiology reports
- Managing a case mix including emergency and neuro-focused imaging
- Reviewing and analyzing X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine studies
- Maintaining efficient workflow and productivity expectations
- Collaborating with clinical teams to support diagnostic decision-making
The expected daily workload includes approximately 90–100 studies per shift, offering a consistent and engaging reading environment for experienced radiologists.

Requirements
- Board Certified Radiologist
- Completed Neuro Fellowship (required)
- Active West Virginia medical license
- Active DEA registration
- Experience interpreting XR, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine imaging
- Ability to manage high-volume imaging workflows efficiently
- Strong diagnostic and reporting skills
- Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days at time of presentation
