About the Position

A healthcare facility in Ashtabula, Ohio is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist to join a growing multispecialty physician group providing care to an adult patient population. The role is primarily outpatient-focused (about 95%) with limited inpatient involvement, managing neurological conditions and performing procedures such as EMG, EEG, lumbar puncture, and muscle biopsy. Physicians are expected to see 15–20 patients per day while collaborating with a team of physicians, advanced practice providers, and dedicated clinical support staff.

The practice offers onsite diagnostic support including lab and X-ray services, along with EMG equipment and a supportive care team. The physician will work alongside experienced clinicians in a well-established medical group, contributing to high-quality neurological care in the community.

Shift Timings:

• Full-time schedule (flexible/negotiable)

• On-call approximately 10 days per month

• Mostly outpatient care with minimal inpatient coverage

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology

• Active Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain)

• BLS and ACLS certification by start date

• DEA registration prior to start

• Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days)

• Experience with lumbar puncture, muscle biopsy, EEG, EMG, brain death exam, and Botox
