🩺 Role Overview
The Medical Director will provide clinical oversight and guidance for participant care while supporting care coordination across multiple disciplines. This position plays a key role in maintaining high standards of care and supporting participants with complex medical needs.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Conduct evaluations for new participants and periodic reassessments
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans
• Participate in intake reviews and program eligibility decisions
• Discuss health conditions and care planning with participants and caregivers
• Provide clinical direction to primary care and advanced practice providers
• Participate in case discussions and family conferences when needed
• Order and review diagnostic testing and maintain accurate documentation
• Support ongoing quality initiatives and program development
• Participate in on-call rotation as required
✔ Qualifications
• Active license to practice in Massachusetts
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Geriatrics certification preferred
• DEA registration required
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• At least 1 year of experience working with older adult populations
