Requirements

• NCCPA certified Physician Assistant – required

• Active Ohio license (or ability to obtain)

• BLS and ACLS certification

• Prior OR experience in open heart, vascular, and thoracic surgery

• Competency in procedures such as suture removal, chest tube insertions, thoracentesis, and pre-op physicals

• Ability to work independently during on-call coverage

• Submission of a current Self-Query NPDB report
