About the Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified Otolaryngology (ENT) Physician for a locum opportunity in Kearney, NE to provide call coverage at a Level II Trauma Center hospital. The physician will deliver 24-hour ENT call coverage, responding to consults from trauma and emergency department physicians and managing inpatient and surgical ENT cases as needed.

Responsibilities include performing ENT procedures such as adenoidectomy, tonsillectomy, audiograms, and lump/tumor removal, with support from anesthesia, CRNA, and surgical teams. The facility uses EPIC EMR and requires 24/7 ENT coverage to maintain trauma designation. Estimated patient volume is 2–4 cases per day during coverage periods.

Shift Timings:

• 24-Hour On-Call Coverage
• Coverage Dates: Dec 24 @ 7:00 AM – Dec 28 @ 7:00 AM, 2026
• Call-back as required

Requirements

• Board Certified in Otolaryngology (ENT)
• Active Nebraska medical license (or ability to obtain; Compact accepted)
• Active DEA license
• Clean malpractice history
• Self-Query NPDB report (dated within 30 days of presentation)
