About the Position

Position Overview

A full-time Nocturnist Hospitalist opportunity is available in Syracuse, New York for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician. Join a well-established, physician-led hospitalist team providing high-quality, mission-driven inpatient care with strong subspecialty support.

This is a dedicated overnight position with a predictable 7-on/7-off schedule.

Schedule

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Rotation: 7-on / 7-off

• Shift Length: 12 hours

• Closed ICU model overnight

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide overnight inpatient coverage

• Perform admissions and manage hospitalized patients

• Conduct comprehensive history & physical exams

• Provide closed ICU rounding on hospitalist patients

• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition

• Collaborate with subspecialists and multidisciplinary teams

• Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up care

• Document all encounters in EPIC EMR

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $320,320 per year

• Productivity & Quality Bonus Incentives

• $15,000 Starting Bonus

Requirements

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 2 years) in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine – Required

• New York Medical License (or willing to obtain) – Required

• Clean malpractice and license history – Required

• NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days of presentation) – Required

• Prior Hospitalist experience required (will not accept new graduates)
