About the Position

Position Overview

A full-time opportunity is available for a Board Certified CRNA to join a collaborative anesthesia team in Clinton, Iowa. This role offers the ability to practice full-scope anesthesia across a wide range of procedures in a community-based hospital setting serving eastern Iowa and western Illinois.

Practice Highlights

• 249 licensed bed community hospital

• Full-spectrum anesthesia services

• EMR: Cerner

• Collaborative OR leadership and anesthesia team environment

• Adult and pediatric patient population

• 24/7 coverage model including scheduled and on-call responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide general anesthesia (including surgical, pediatric, thoracic, and OB cases)

• Administer IV sedation, IV regional anesthesia, regional blocks, and conductive anesthesia

• Deliver pre-anesthesia evaluations

• Provide post-operative monitoring and manage anesthesia-related complications

• Respond to anesthesia-specific code calls as needed

• Deliver services in accordance with approved clinical standards

Requirements

Requirements

• Board Certified CRNA (NBCRNA) – Required

• Iowa License (or willing to obtain) or IMLC – Required

• Experience with both adult and pediatric cases – Required

• BLS (or willing to obtain within 3 months of hire) – Required

• ACLS, PALS, and NRP (or willing to obtain within 1 year of hire) – Required

• 5+ years of CRNA experience – Preferred (strong new grads with solid training considered)

• Clean Malpractice History – Preferred

• NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days of presentation) – Required
