About the Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician for a locum opportunity in Hartford, CT. This role includes a mix of inpatient consults and outpatient clinic coverage, providing care primarily to adult and geriatric patients. The position involves approximately 80% Hematology and 20% Oncology, supporting a well-established team of physicians and advanced practice providers in a collaborative clinical environment.

The facility is a Level I Trauma center utilizing Epic EMR, offering a structured practice setting with strong interdisciplinary collaboration. This assignment is due to a leave of absence and offers the potential for extension.

Shift Timings:

• 3–4 clinic days per week (Monday–Friday)
• Some weekend coverage (2–3 weekends per year)
• Night call rotation approximately 1:10 (infrequent)
• 6 months to 1 year assignment

Requirements

• Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
• Active Connecticut medical license
• Self-Query NPDB report 
• Local candidates highly preferred
• Willingness to participate in call rotation
