About the Position

A respected acute care hospital in Ypsilanti, Michigan is seeking a full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join its collaborative team in a Level III NICU. This role involves providing specialized inpatient neonatal care within a structured, physician-led environment.

Responsibilities include comprehensive neonatal assessments, daily rounds, management of critically ill and premature infants, participation in multidisciplinary care, and family education. The unit utilizes EPIC EMR and supports evidence-based, team-oriented practice. Both experienced providers and board-eligible new graduates are welcome in this supportive clinical setting.

Shift Timings:

• Varied inpatient schedule
• Mix of 24-hour, 10-hour, and 8-hour NICU shifts
• Weekends included in rotation
• No call required

Requirements

• Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (by start date)
• Successful completion of accredited NNP program
• Active Michigan License
• BLS Certification
• NRP Certification
• Ability to work varied 24-, 10-, and 8-hour shifts
• Willingness to complete 3–4 month credentialing process
• Clean malpractice and license history
• NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days)
• EMR experience ( preferred)
