About the Position

A community hospital in Fresno, California is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Hospitalist for locum coverage during March and April. This is a 375-bed facility utilizing EPIC documentation and providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care.

The role includes management of low- and high-risk pregnancies, routine and complicated deliveries, C-sections, and surgical gynecology procedures. Approximately 20% of the practice is GYN-focused, with responsibilities spanning inpatient obstetrics, labor and delivery, and operative gynecologic care. This is a non-trauma designated community hospital environment.

Shift Timings:

• 24-hour shifts
• 7:00am–7:00am
• 7:00am–7:00pm
• 7:00pm–7:00am

Requirements

• Board Certified in OB/GYN
• Active California Medical License
• BLS Certification
• Experience with Low & High-Risk Pregnancies
• Proficiency in NST/CST/FSE interpretation
• OB Ultrasounds (Level I & II – Performance & Interpretation)
• Vaginal Deliveries, Forceps, C-Sections, Breech, Multiple Births
• Surgical Gynecology (Ectopic, Oophorectomy, Cystectomy, LOA’s)
• Self-Query NPDB (within 30 days)
