Position Overview

• Emergency Medicine physician coverage in a community emergency department
• Annual ED volume: 14,000
• ED beds: 10
• Trauma level: Level IV
• Acuity: Medium
• EMR: Epic with Dragon dictation

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board certified or board eligible preferred
• Emergency Medicine preferred. Internal Medicine and Family Medicine considered.
• If not ABEM: ACLS, ATLS, PALS
• Active Mississippi medical license in hand. IMLC not accepted.
• DEA with Mississippi address
• Controlled substance registration when required
• Case logs for the past 2 years

Credentialing

• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 61 to 90 days
