About the Position

🩺 Locum Urologist – Inpatient Call Coverage
📍 Job Location: Paducah

✨ We’re seeking a Urologist (Locums) to provide inpatient call coverage beginning in 2026. This is a great opportunity for physicians looking for weekend-based coverage, with the option for locum-to-permanent consideration, in a well-supported hospital environment.

🏥 Facility Setting

• Hospital-based inpatient practice

• Community medical center with full diagnostic support

• Modern ORs with access to robotic platforms (if applicable to provider skillset)

👨‍⚕️ Practice Overview

• Coverage Need: 1–2 weekends per month

• Weekend Coverage: Thursday or Friday AM – Monday AM

• Call-based role: consults, inpatient rounding, and procedures

• No other urologist onsite during coverage

• Support Team:

  • 1 employed Urologist (covers remaining schedule)

  • 2 Nurse Practitioners (clinic-only, no inpatient support)

• Labs & imaging available onsite

Requirements

🔧 Required Clinical Skills

• General Urology

• Advanced endoscopic techniques

• Ureteroscopy

• Laser-certified procedures

🧳 Travel Support

• Economy/standard travel arrangements

• Lodging support provided within established limits

✅ Requirements

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Urology

• Active Kentucky license preferred (IMLC accepted)

• BLS & ACLS certified

• Clean background and malpractice history

• NPDB self-query required

• Comfortable with independent inpatient coverage
