About the Position

❤️ Locum Cardiology Nurse Practitioner
📍 Job Location: Coos Bay

✨ We’re seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (Locums) for a 3-month assignment with the possibility of extension. This role offers a balanced mix of inpatient and clinic care in a supportive, well-resourced medical environment serving a coastal community.

🏥 Facility Setting

• Community-based medical center and regional referral hub

• Comprehensive cardiovascular services

• Collaborative cardiology program with strong physician and nursing support

💓 Practice Overview

• Schedule: Full-time (4 x 10-hour shifts)

• Clinic Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

• Hospital Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

• Rotation Model:

  • 50% inpatient / 50% outpatient

  • Weekly rotation between hospital and clinic

Requirements

👩‍⚕️ Clinical Responsibilities

• Clinic volume: 15–18 patients/day

• Inpatient census: 8–15 patients/day

• General, invasive, and electrophysiology cardiology exposure

• Work alongside 4 cardiology physicians

• Dedicated MA support

• Triage RN team

• Device clinic with specialized staff

• EMR: Epic

✅ Requirements

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner

• Active Oregon license (or willingness to obtain)

• Minimum 1+ year experience as a Cardiology NP

• Clean background and malpractice history preferred

• Comfortable working in both inpatient and outpatient settings

• Meets medical staff or allied health professional criteria
