🧠 Locum Neurologist – Inpatient Coverage
📍 Job Location: Mishawaka

✨ We’re seeking a Board-Certified Neurologist (Locums) to provide 100% inpatient neurology coverage for scheduled dates later this year. This opportunity is ideal for providers who enjoy focused inpatient work with solid hospital support.

🏥 Facility Setting

• Hospital-based inpatient neurology service

• Non–Level 1 trauma center

• Well-established neurology program serving community needs

🧑‍⚕️ Practice Overview

• Adult patient population: 100%

• Inpatient care only

• Average inpatient census: 8–10 patients/day

• 24-hour call coverage

• No other neurologist on-site during assignment

• Neurology group includes physicians and APP support

• Onsite lab and imaging services

• EMR: Epic

Requirements

📅 Coverage Dates

• May 28 (8:00 AM) – June 1 (8:00 AM)

• December 21 (8:00 AM) – December 28 (8:00 AM)

🩺 Responsibilities

• Inpatient neurology consults and ongoing care

• Respond to call-back needs as required

• Collaborate with hospital teams to ensure continuity of care

✅ Requirements

• Board Certified in Neurology

• Active Indiana medical license

• Clean background and malpractice history

• NPDB self-query required at submission

• Comfortable managing independent inpatient coverage
