About the Position

Position Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified Physician Assistant for a Cardiothoracic Surgery / Cardiovascular Institute (CVI) opportunity in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. This role includes a mix of inpatient surgical coverage and outpatient clinic responsibilities within hospital and clinic settings.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: Upon completion of credentialing

• Credentialing Timeline: 60+ days

• Schedule:

  • 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch included)

  • 5 days per week

  • 4 days inpatient/surgery

  • 1 day outpatient clinic

• Compensation: Inquire for details

• Inpatient and Outpatient

• Hospital and Clinic environments

Clinical Responsibilities

• Assist in Cardiovascular and Cardiothoracic surgical procedures

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care

• Manage inpatient rounding and surgical support

• Conduct outpatient follow-ups and evaluations

• Collaborate closely with CT surgeons and multidisciplinary teams

Requirements

Qualifications

• Board Certified Physician Assistant – Required

• Active Pennsylvania State License – Required

• DEA License – Required

• BLS Certification – Required

• ACLS Certification – Required

• Relevant CT Surgery / CVI experience preferred

• Self-Query NPDB (within 30 days of presentation) – Required
