About the Position

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematology Oncology Physician for a locum opportunity in Santa Cruz, California. This is an outpatient, ambulatory-based role providing comprehensive hematology and oncology care in a well-supported clinical setting. Physicians will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurse navigators, social workers, pharmacy support, genetic counselors, and research staff to ensure seamless patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include managing 13–18 patients per day, participating in tumor boards, and delivering care through a modern infusion center with dedicated RN support. This opportunity offers strong clinical infrastructure and the potential for long-term engagement if mutually aligned.

Shift Timings:

• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Full-time (5 days/week) or Part-time (2–3 days/week)
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active California Medical License (Mandatory)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology
• Completion of accredited post-graduate training program
• Active BLS Certification
• Active DEA Registration
• Clean malpractice/background history
• Self-Query NPDB report (dated within 30 days of presentation)
