About the Position

A healthcare organization is seeking a Board-Certified Radiologist for night shifts. The role focuses on high-volume reading of emergency and inpatient imaging, with occasional outpatient cases when required. The ideal candidate should be comfortable interpreting stroke exams and managing a diverse case mix, including XR, CT, MR, US, and nuclear medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently interpret high-volume ER and inpatient imaging studies.

• Perform occasional outpatient imaging studies as needed.

• Provide accurate and timely reporting, especially for stroke and emergency cases.

• Collaborate with clinical teams to support patient care and decision-making.

• Maintain compliance with departmental policies, quality standards, and reporting guidelines.

Requirements

• Board Certification in Radiology – Required

• Active state medical license – Required

• DEA registration – Required

• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days at time of presentation – Required

• High-volume reading experience, primarily ER and inpatient – Preferred

• Comfortable with stroke imaging – Preferred
