About the Position
A community-focused healthcare organization in Brattleboro, Vermont, is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join their outpatient primary care team. This role provides comprehensive, patient-centered care in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment. The NP will manage patient care across all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and overall wellness, while supporting the practice’s daily operations and contributing to the professional development of the care team.
Responsibilities:

Independently perform medical acts in accordance with APRN licensure standards in an outpatient primary care setting.

Provide comprehensive nursing and medical care to individuals, families, and groups.

Promote health, prevent disease, and educate patients on wellness and treatment options.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Deliver leadership, consultation, and guidance within the care team.

Maintain a safe, efficient, and patient-centered clinical environment.

Support daily practice operations and participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements

Master’s Degree from an accredited Adult Nurse Practitioner program.

Current Vermont APRN License or ability to obtain prior to start.

Certification as Adult, Family, or Pediatric NP preferred.

DEA license and Healthcare Provider CPR certification.

Clean malpractice history and recent NPDB Self Query (within 30 days).

Minimum of two years of nursing experience prior to advanced degree preferred.

Strong communication, collaboration, and patient education skills.

Competitive salary: $120,000 – $140,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
