About the Position

A well-established, community-focused hospital in Brattleboro, Vermont, is seeking a full-time Urology Physician to join their collaborative team. This single-site practice offers comprehensive care for adult and pediatric patients in both outpatient and surgical settings. The role includes surgical procedures, hospital consultations, and light call coverage, providing an excellent balance between professional responsibility and personal life.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of urologic conditions, including kidney stones, BPH, incontinence, urinary tract infections, and more.

  • Perform surgical procedures in modern operating rooms with pre- and post-operative patient care.

  • Provide hospital and emergency room consultations, collaborating with other specialists to ensure comprehensive care.

  • Participate in a light call schedule, covering approximately 7 days per month.

  • Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to professional standards and hospital policies.

  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.

  • Completion of an accredited urology residency program in the United States or Canada.

  • Active Vermont medical license (must be obtained prior to start).

  • Clean malpractice history and recent NPDB Self Query (within 30 days).

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Eligible candidates must be available for full-time employment.
