About the Position

Join a dynamic Cardiothoracic Surgery team as a locum physician covering night and weekend shifts. This role focuses on adult cardiac and thoracic cases, providing comprehensive surgical care including CABG, valve repair/replacement, thoracotomies, mediastinal surgery, and tube thoracostomies. The schedule is Friday evening to Monday morning, with additional call coverage one week per month. Providers will operate in a hospital-based, Level I trauma setting with access to dedicated ORs and Epic EMR.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery

• Active Michigan license (or willingness to obtain)

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification

• Clean malpractice and licensing history (NPDB Self-Query required within 30 days)

• Experienced in adult cardiac and general thoracic surgical procedures

• Ability to respond to trauma cases as needed
