About the Position

A hospital-based practice in Coos Bay is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for locum coverage. This is a 3-month assignment with the possibility of extension, providing care in both hospital and clinic settings.

Shift & Schedule:

• Full-time: 80 hours per pay period

• 4x10 day shifts (0730–1630 clinic & hospital hours)

• 50% hospital / 50% clinic rotation (weekly alternating schedule)

• No weekend requirements

Practice Details:

• Manage 15–18 clinic patients per day, 8–15 hospital patients per day

• 4 physicians on staff

• Assigned MA and triage RN team

• Device clinic support for general, invasive, and electrophysiology cardiology

• EPIC EMR

Requirements

• Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner – Required

• Oregon license (or willingness to obtain) – Required

• Minimum 1+ year of Cardiology NP experience – Required

• BLS/ACLS as applicable

• Clean background and malpractice record – highly preferred

• Self-Query NPDB report (within 30 days) – Required
