🏥 Position Overview

A leading regional health system is seeking a Board-Certified Neurologist for inpatient locum coverage to support community needs. This assignment is 100% adult inpatient with 24-hour call coverage.

The locum provider will function independently during coverage, supported by an established neurology group and advanced practice provider team.

🔎 Assignment Details

• 24-hour call coverage (weekend coverage required)

• Coverage Dates:

  • May 28 at 8:00 AM – June 1 at 8:00 AM

  • December 21 at 8:00 AM – December 28 at 8:00 AM

• 100% Adult patient population

• 100% Inpatient setting

• Average 8–10 hospital-based patients per day

• Solo coverage during assignment

• 6 Neurologists in group (IP/OP combined)

• 1 Advanced Practice Provider

• Onsite lab and imaging services

• EMR: Epic

• Non-Level 1 Trauma designation

• Travel, lodging, and rental car covered

• Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate

Requirements

✅ Required Qualifications

• Board Certified in Neurology – Required

• Active Indiana medical license – Required

• Self-Query NPDB report (dated within the same month as submission) – Required

• Willingness to comply with conversion terms (25k cap)
