About the Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified General Surgeon for a locum opportunity in Tiffin, Ohio providing hospital-based call coverage. The provider will manage adult and geriatric patients, perform general surgical cases, and handle laparoscopic procedures including cholecystectomy, along with GI endoscopy procedures such as colonoscopy and upper endoscopy.

This role involves being the sole General Surgeon on call, managing an average of 2 surgical cases per day, working within a well-trained OR team in a 5-OR facility using Epic EMR. The facility is a non-trauma center with strong surgical support staff.

Shift Timings:

• 24-hour call shifts
• 7–10 days per month
• Variable call schedule
• Must specify available dates at name clear

Requirements

• Board Certified – Required
• Active Ohio License – Required
• ACLS Certification – Required
• NPDB Self-Query (dated within 30 days of presentation) – Required
