We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive adult medical care in a strictly outpatient setting in Long Island, NY. This position focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while offering long-term professional growth and partnership potential.

Assignment Details

• Outpatient-only practice

• 8-hour shifts

• 40 hours per week (full-time option)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive outpatient consultations for adult patients.

• Diagnose and manage chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disorders, cardiovascular disease, respiratory disorders, metabolic conditions, and infectious diseases.

• Provide preventive care, annual wellness visits, screenings, and lifestyle counseling.

• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress through ongoing follow-up.

• Coordinate care with subspecialists to ensure continuity and comprehensive management.

• Maintain accurate documentation and patient charting within EMR/EHR systems.

• Promote preventive health strategies and chronic disease management programs.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (BC/BE).

• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience preferred.

• Active or eligible for New York State medical licensure.

• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in adult medicine.

• Experience managing chronic disease and preventive care initiatives.

• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Commitment to delivering patient-centered care in an outpatient environment.
