About the Position
A rapidly growing pediatric neurology department in Saginaw, MI is seeking a full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Neurologist to join an academic and clinical team supporting a new pediatric residency program. This role combines inpatient consults, outpatient care, teaching, and research opportunities, providing the chance to influence pediatric care across a wide geographic region of over 20 counties.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide care for pediatric inpatients and outpatient consultations.
- Participate in resident and medical student education.
- Opportunity to interpret EEGs and sleep studies.
- Engage in research and scholarly activities with time allocated for academic pursuits.
- Serve as a clinical and educational leader within the department, with potential for faculty leadership roles.
- Collaborate with a vast primary care referral network to support patient care.
- Contribute to program development for a new pediatric residency program.
- Adhere to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology (0–5 years post-residency)
- Fellowship-trained in Pediatric Neurology (completed prior to start)
- Active MI medical license or willingness to obtain
- DEA and Controlled Substance Licenses (CSR/CDS)
- Strong clinical skills and interest in teaching and academic medicine
- Experience or interest in scholarly activities and research
- Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates
