About the Position
A growing outpatient Family Medicine practice in Plymouth, IN is seeking a full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine physician to join a high-profile, collaborative team. This role is primarily office-based with optional OB responsibilities and opportunities to work with a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, evaluate, and treat patients using advanced knowledge and clinical skills.
- Develop and implement treatment plans while collaborating with or referring to supervising physicians as needed.
- Perform history, physical exams, basic procedures, and order/interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Provide patient and family education regarding medical conditions, treatment plans, and wellness.
- Participate in quality assurance, process improvement, and compliance audits.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver individualized patient care.
- Opportunities for teaching and supervision of Family Medicine residents.
- Adhere to organizational mission, core values, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Flexibility in schedule coverage and participation in service excellence initiatives.
Work Environment: Outpatient office setting with access to basic laboratory services; may require limited hospital-based collaboration.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (OB optional)
- Active IN medical license (or willing to obtain)
- Experience treating patients of all ages: pediatric through geriatric
- Active BLS and ACLS certification (or willing to obtain)
- DEA registration (or willing to obtain)
- Up-to-date COVID vaccination
- Knowledge of EPIC EMR preferred
- Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates
- Not accepting Locums candidates
