About the Position

growing outpatient Family Medicine practice in Plymouth, IN is seeking a full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine physician to join a high-profile, collaborative team. This role is primarily office-based with optional OB responsibilities and opportunities to work with a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, evaluate, and treat patients using advanced knowledge and clinical skills.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans while collaborating with or referring to supervising physicians as needed.
  • Perform history, physical exams, basic procedures, and order/interpreting diagnostic tests.
  • Provide patient and family education regarding medical conditions, treatment plans, and wellness.
  • Participate in quality assurance, process improvement, and compliance audits.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver individualized patient care.
  • Opportunities for teaching and supervision of Family Medicine residents.
  • Adhere to organizational mission, core values, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Flexibility in schedule coverage and participation in service excellence initiatives.

Work Environment: Outpatient office setting with access to basic laboratory services; may require limited hospital-based collaboration.

 

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (OB optional)
  • Active IN medical license (or willing to obtain)
  • Experience treating patients of all ages: pediatric through geriatric
  • Active BLS and ACLS certification (or willing to obtain)
  • DEA registration (or willing to obtain)
  • Up-to-date COVID vaccination
  • Knowledge of EPIC EMR preferred
  • Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates
  • Not accepting Locums candidates
