About the Position
A well-established Hematology/Oncology practice in Saginaw, MI is seeking two dedicated physicians to join a collaborative, high-functioning team. This hospital-employed role offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care, providing full-scope medical oncology and hematology services.
Practice Overview
- Patient mix: 80% outpatient / 20% inpatient
- Case breakdown: 70% solid tumors / 30% hematology
- Outpatient census: ~25 patients per clinic
- Inpatient volume: 5–10 patients on average
- Support staff: Dedicated medical assistant and RN for each physician, plus 2 inpatient NPs
- Shared call schedule
- Access to state-of-the-art cancer care center and infusion therapy facilities
- Some travel to satellite clinics may be required
- Academic affiliation opportunities with nearby medical students and residents
- Advanced technology available: Elekta Versa HD Linear Accelerator, Brachytherapy Flexitron, Xofigo® treatments
- EMR: EPIC
- Open to H-1B visa candidates, not J-1 waivers
- Accepting new graduates and experienced physicians
- Not accepting Locums candidates
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology (0–5 years post-residency)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology (0–5 years post-residency)
- Michigan medical license (or willing to obtain)
- DEA and CSR/CDS (must be obtained prior to start)
- Most recent NPDB report (within 30–60 days active)
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
