About the Position

A respected multispecialty medical group in Ashtabula, Ohio is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Neurologist to join a collaborative team of 60+ employed providers. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering strong specialty support, a stable referral base, and a predominantly outpatient practice model.

Practice Overview

  • Patient volume: 15–20 patients per day (non-negotiable)
  • Schedule: Full-time, negotiable structure
  • Call: 10 days per month
  • Patient population: 100% adult
  • 95% outpatient / 5% inpatient
  • 0–5% trauma-based cases
  • No rehab or sleep coverage (negotiable)
  • Supported by 50 physicians and 10 APPs within the group
  • Onsite lab and X-ray services
  • Dedicated support staff including EMG tech and LPN
  • Equipment: EMG
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Must live within a 40-mile radius or be willing to relocate
  • Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates
  • Not accepting Locums candidates
  • Credentialing timeframe: 30–60 days

Requirements

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology
  • Ohio medical license (or willing to obtain)
  • BLS and ACLS (by time of start)
  • DEA (must be obtained prior to start)
  • Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active)
  • Required procedural experience:
    • Lumbar puncture

    • Muscle biopsy

    • EEG

    • Brain death exam

    • EMG

    • Botox administration

  • Must reside within 40 miles or relocate
