About the Position

A well-established medical group in Pueblo, Colorado is seeking a Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible Neurosurgeon (ABNS) to join a collegial and high-demand practice. This is a replacement position with significant community need, currently supported by one neurosurgeon and four experienced APPs.

This opportunity offers a balanced weekly schedule, strong APP support, advanced neuro-navigation technology, and the ability to develop a robust elective spine practice in an underserved market.

Practice Highlights

  • Schedule: 2 clinic days, 2 OR days, 1 flex day
  • Clinic volume: 8–12 patients per day plus additional support from 3–4 PAs
  • ER call: 7 days per month, primarily remote imaging review from home
  • Likely one weekend call per month
  • Floor calls handled by PAs
  • Practice setting: Inpatient, outpatient, and clinic
  • Trauma Level: III
  • General Neurosurgery with opportunity to grow elective spine program
  • Clinic co-located with pain service and on-site X-ray
  • Neuro-navigation technology including Globus Robot and Stryker systems
  • EMR: EPIC

 

Requirements

  • Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible in Neurosurgery through ABNS

    • BE within 5 years of eligibility and working toward certification within 4 years

  • Colorado medical license (or willing to obtain)
  • DEA (must be obtained prior to start)
  • Clean malpractice history
  • Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active)
