About the Position
A Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible Dermatologist is sought to help build and grow a dynamic dermatology practice in Jackson, MI. This opportunity allows you to join a newly renovated outpatient medical center focused on delivering high-quality care in a welcoming and collaborative environment.
This practice is being reopened, offering an exciting opportunity to establish and grow a dermatology service line within a supportive healthcare system.
Practice Highlights
- Outpatient clinic setting
- Monday–Friday schedule with flexibility
- Minimum of 36 direct patient contact hours and 4 administrative hours weekly
- Level 2 trauma designation
- 90% medical dermatology / 10% cosmetic dermatology, with opportunity to expand cosmetic services if desired
- High procedure volume (approximately 80% of visits involve procedures)
- Average 4–5 patients per hour, with 3–4 involving procedures
- EMR: Epic
- Strong organizational support promoting excellent work-life balance

- Start date: As soon as possible (allow 90 days for credentialing)
- Not open to 1099 candidates
- Not open to Locums candidates
- Not open to candidates with lapsed board certifications
- Not open to providers commuting more than 1 hour or working in conjunction with another job
- Open to H1B visa candidates (J1 not accepted)
Requirements

Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Dermatology

Board Eligible candidates must become Board Certified within 3 years of graduation

- Michigan medical license (or willing to obtain)
- BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
- DEA (must be obtained prior to start)
- CSR/CDS (must be obtained prior to start)
- Clean malpractice and license history
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active)
- Flu vaccine required
