About the Position

A Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible Dermatologist is sought to help build and grow a dynamic dermatology practice in Jackson, MI. This opportunity allows you to join a newly renovated outpatient medical center focused on delivering high-quality care in a welcoming and collaborative environment.

This practice is being reopened, offering an exciting opportunity to establish and grow a dermatology service line within a supportive healthcare system.

Practice Highlights

• Outpatient clinic setting
• Monday–Friday schedule with flexibility
• Minimum of 36 direct patient contact hours and 4 administrative hours weekly
• Level 2 trauma designation
• 90% medical dermatology / 10% cosmetic dermatology, with opportunity to expand cosmetic services if desired
• High procedure volume (approximately 80% of visits involve procedures)
• Average 4–5 patients per hour, with 3–4 involving procedures
• EMR: Epic
• Strong organizational support promoting excellent work-life balance

• Start date: As soon as possible (allow 90 days for credentialing)
• Not open to 1099 candidates
• Not open to Locums candidates
• Not open to candidates with lapsed board certifications
• Not open to providers commuting more than 1 hour or working in conjunction with another job
• Open to H1B visa candidates (J1 not accepted)

Requirements

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Dermatology

  • Board Eligible candidates must become Board Certified within 3 years of graduation

• Michigan medical license (or willing to obtain)
• BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
• DEA (must be obtained prior to start)
• CSR/CDS (must be obtained prior to start)
• Clean malpractice and license history
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active)
• Flu vaccine required
