About the Position
A highly respected coastal cancer center in Coos Bay, Oregon is seeking two full-time or part-time Medical Oncologists and/or Hematologists to join its established and collegial team. This center serves as the primary oncology hub for Oregon’s southern coast and offers an exceptional balance of professional fulfillment and coastal lifestyle.
This is a 100% outpatient opportunity in a free-standing, state-of-the-art cancer center — no inpatient consults required.
Position Highlights:
- Full-time (80 hours per pay period) or Part-time (48 hours per pay period) options
- 100% outpatient practice
- Average 10–15 patients per day
- Approximately 80% Oncology / 20% Hematology case mix
- 8-hour clinic days
- 1:4 call (primarily critical lab calls)

Requirements
- Board Eligible (within 2 years) or Board Certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology – Required
- Active Oregon medical license (or willingness to obtain) – Required
- BLS certification (or willingness to obtain) – Required
- DEA (must be obtained prior to start) – Required
- Clean malpractice history/background – Required
- Most recent NPDB Self-Query Report (within 30 days) – Required
- Radiation Oncology experience preferred (or strong recent graduate)
