About the Position

A leading gastroenterology practice in the Metro Atlanta area is seeking two Gastroenterology Hospitalists to join its growing inpatient team in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

This is a dedicated inpatient consultative role offering an excellent work-life balance with a 7 on / 7 off schedule (approximately 22 working weeks per year).

Position Highlights:

• General GI hospitalist role
• Coverage of all unassigned GI patients plus established practice patients
• 7 on / 7 off schedule
• Inpatient consult service from 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Two inpatient APPs providing coverage 7 days per week
• Night call covered by existing GI physicians
• Remaining hospitalist coverage weeks supported by established physician team
• Collaborative, well-supported inpatient environment

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine – Required
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology – Required
• Active Georgia medical license (or willingness to obtain) – Required
• DEA (must be obtained prior to start) – Required
• Most recent NPDB Self-Query Report (within 30 days) – Required
• Clean malpractice history – Preferred
