About the Position

A physician-led emergency medicine group is seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician or Board Certified Internal Medicine/Family Medicine Physician with Emergency Medicine experience to join its established emergency department team in southern Ohio.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity in a collaborative environment with strong administrative and APP support.

Position Highlights:

  • 21,000 annual ED visits
  • 20-bed Emergency Department
  • 24 hours/day physician coverage (12-hour shifts)
  • 14 hours/day Advanced Practice Provider coverage
  • Physician-led organization
  • On-site administrative support

  • Option for W2 employed position or 1099 independent contractor with guaranteed shifts
  • Opportunity for additional compensation for dedicated night coverage

This position may require relocation to the immediate local area. Details to be discussed during the interview process.

Please Note:

  • Experience required (minimum 12 months / 2,000 hours in Emergency Medicine practice, not including training)
  • Not accepting new graduate candidates

Requirements

  • Board Certified in Emergency Medicine OR Board Certified in Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience – Required
  • Minimum of 12 months or 2,000 hours of Emergency Medicine experience (excluding training) – Required
  • Active Ohio medical license (in hand or in process) – Required
  • DEA (must be obtained prior to start) – Required
  • Clean malpractice and licensing history – Required
  • Most recent NPDB Self-Query Report (within 30 days) – Required
  • Proof of COVID vaccination – Required
  • Ability to provide a list of performed EM procedures
