About the Position

A physician-led emergency medicine program in Cambridge, Ohio is seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine physicians or Board Certified Family Medicine/Internal Medicine physicians with Emergency Medicine experience to join a growing and well-supported Emergency Department team.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity within a collaborative, family-owned physician group focused on high-quality emergency and inpatient care delivery.

Emergency Department Highlights:

• 27,000 annual ED volume
• 16-bed Emergency Department
• 24 hours/day physician coverage (12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours/day Advanced Practice Provider coverage
• Meditech EMR
• On-site administrative support

Providers may contract as a W2 employee with benefits or as a 1099 independent contractor with guaranteed shifts.

These positions may require local residency; relocation may be discussed during the interview process.

• Minimum 12 months / 2,000 hours of Emergency Medicine experience required (excluding training)
• Not accepting new graduates
• Not accepting visa candidates
• Permanent, full-time positions

Requirements

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
  OR Board Certified Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience – Required
• Minimum 12 months / 2,000 hours of Emergency Medicine experience (excluding training) – Required
• Active Ohio medical license (in hand or in process) – Required
• DEA (must be obtained prior to start) – Required
• Clean malpractice and license history – Required
• Most recent NPDB Self-Query Report (within 30 days) – Required
• Proof of COVID vaccination status – Required
• List of procedures performed in Emergency Medicine practice – Required
• Permanent placement interest only
