About the Position

A highly respected healthcare organization in the Metro Detroit area is seeking full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join their growing anesthesia team at an Ambulatory Surgery Center in Royal Oak, MI.

This is an outpatient-focused opportunity offering an excellent work-life balance in one of Detroit’s most desirable suburbs—known for vibrant dining, entertainment, and community amenities.

Position Highlights:

  • Outpatient Ambulatory Surgery Center setting
  • Mix of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts (option to transition to longer shifts if desired)
  • No call
  • No weekends
  • Start date ASAP (credentialing up to 90 days)
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Must be willing to travel to other ambulatory sites when necessary

Clinical Responsibilities Include:

  • Administering IV, inhalation, and regional anesthetics
  • Providing anesthesia care across preoperative, intraoperative, and immediate postoperative phases
  • Airway management and intubations (emergent and non-emergent)
  • Managing patients of all ages and ASA classifications, including pediatrics and geriatrics
  • Conducting comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments
  • Collaborating closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative teams
  • Participating in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
  • Supporting professional development and mentoring when needed

This role requires strong collaboration skills, commitment to excellence, and dedication to patient-centered care.

Not accepting new graduates (minimum 2 years CRNA experience required).
Not accepting locums or 1099 candidates.

Requirements

  • Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) – Required
  • Completion of an Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program – Required
  • Active Michigan RN and CRNA Specialty Licenses (in hand) – Required
  • Minimum 2 years CRNA experience (excluding RN training) – Required
  • Active BLS, ACLS, PALS (or willing to obtain) – Required
  • DEA and CSR/CDS (must be obtained prior to start) – Required
  • Clean malpractice and license history – Required
  • Most recent NPDB Self-Query Report (within 30 days) – Required
  • Up-to-date COVID and Flu vaccination compliance – Required
  • Willingness to travel between ambulatory sites – Required
