About the Position
A leading healthcare network in West Michigan is seeking a full-time Hematology/Oncology Physician to join a collaborative cancer center team. This is a unique opportunity to deliver comprehensive patient care across the cancer continuum, participate in clinical trials, and work within a multidisciplinary oncology network serving communities across West Michigan and the Lake Michigan shoreline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full-spectrum hematology and oncology care, including new patient evaluations, active treatment, and follow-up care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including radiation oncology, surgical oncology, neuro-oncology, gynecologic oncology, and subspecialty surgical teams
- Work across two facilities to maximize patient access and care continuity
- Engage with advanced practice providers, infusion services, care management, social work, nurse navigation, research, and genetic/financial counseling teams
- Participate in clinical research and trials with access to cutting-edge resources via an academic affiliation
- Contribute to a patient-centered, high-quality care environment
Notes:
- Open to new graduates, must be board-certified within 2 years of eligibility
- H1B visa candidates considered; J1 visa not supported

Requirements
- Fellowship-trained in Hematology/Oncology [REQUIRED]
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (must achieve board certification within 2 years of eligibility) [REQUIRED]
- Active MI medical license or willingness to obtain [REQUIRED]
- DEA license, or willingness to obtain [REQUIRED]
- BLS and ACLS certification [REQUIRED]
- Clean malpractice record and recent NPDB Self Query report (within 30 days) [REQUIRED]
